The Language Center (LC) of HKBU offers two modes of Japanese language studies: Credit Bearing Course & Supplementary Course.  The Credit Bearing Japanese Course helps students to systematically build up their knowledge of vocabulary and grammatical structures of the Language, whereas the Supplementary Japanese Course places more emphasis on developing communication skills through a range of specified situations and social settings.

If you are a beginner with no experience in learning the Japanese language, you can set your own pace and enjoy the flexibility of starting with the Supplementary Course before proceeding to the Credit Bearing Course. 

香港バプテスト大学のランゲージセンターではクレジットコースとサプリメンタリーコースの両コースで日本語を勉強することができます。クレジットコースはシラバスに沿って文法事項を積み上げながら日本語を習得していくコースで、サプリメンタリーコースは場面シラバスをもとにコミュニケーションを重視したコースです。日本語を勉強したことのない人はまずサプリメンタリーコースで平仮名やカタカナなど基礎的なことを学んでからクレジットコースに登録して学ぶことも可能です。
